Curious about scent work? Want an activity that strengthens the bond between you and your pup? Nose Work is a fun activity that can be enjoyed by virtually all dogs and their owners! Worried that your dog is too old, too young, too shy, or too friendly? Don’t be! Everyone has to start somewhere and even if your pup has had no prior training, Connie Kelly is an excellent and patient instructor who will help you learn the ropes and build your skills.
It starts with getting the dogs excited about using their noses to seek out a favorite toy or treat hidden in one of several boxes. As the dogs grow more confident with their noses, the game expands to entire rooms, exterior areas and vehicles. Each pup will be crated until it is their turn to hit the search field so please bring a crate and lots of high value treats!
Connie is a Certified Nose Work Instructor and has been teaching this klass, along with her pup Peaches, for years! She will help guide you and your pup through the runs and will help you both build up your scent work skills!
